Frequently Asked Questions

Does the Advancing Leadership Adult program cost money?

The tuition to participate in the Advancing Leadership Adult program is $1,500. Companies can also receive half off tuition with various levels of corporate sponsorship. Tuition includes leadership development testing, curriculum learning materials, and more.

How often does the program meet?

The ALA program meets 14 times between August and April. Most months will include only one meeting, though several months will include extra meetings for team project planning.

What if I need to leave early/arrive late?

Flexible attendance is permitted due to work, family transportation needs, etc. All we ask is that you notify us ahead of time so we can adjust the contents of the program day accordingly.

What happens if I miss a day?

Individual attendance is critical to cultivating a peer to peer learning environment that allows leaders to make the most of their time in the program. Individuals are required to commit to at least 80% attendance throughout the program. We understand that life happens and are happy to work around excused absences, but two unexcused absences will result in a meeting with the Executive Director regarding your continued participation in the program.

Do I need to pack a lunch?

Yes. We encourage students to bring a lunch and eat with their peers or patronize a locally owned business near where we are meeting for that program day. This is an opportunity to intentionally develop relationships with other leaders in your class and support businesses owned by other members of our community.
